925 Sterling Silver <
925 Sterling Silver is a high quality and durable choice for jewelry. It is made of 92.5% pure silver and is known for its brilliance and beauty. What is important for you as a customer is that sterling silver does not rub off and is waterproof, making it ideal for everyday use. It retains its color and quality even when worn regularly and exposed to water. An excellent choice for jewelry that will be worn and appreciated for years to come.
Platinum coating <
The rhodium or platinum plating on 925 sterling silver gives our jewelry additional protection and remarkable brightness. Rhodium and platinum are among the most valuable metals on earth and are known for their corrosion resistance and longevity. They provide an additional layer of protection that protects the jewelry from wear and tear and extends its lifespan. In addition, the coating gives the jewelry an elegant, high-gloss finish that reflects light beautifully. A piece of jewelry with rhodium or platinum plating is therefore an excellent choice if you value quality and durability.
Gold plating <
Our 925 sterling silver is plated with a fine layer of high quality gold that is at least 14 carats. This gold coating not only gives the jewelry a luxurious and warm appearance, but also increases its resistance to wear and tear and moisture and discoloration. The combination of sterling silver and gold creates a piece of jewelry that combines the best of both metals - the strength and durability of silver with the elegant look and warm shine of gold. This makes our gold plated jewelry a perfect choice for those looking for quality and elegance at an affordable price.
925 Sterling Silver: base metal
At GIVE LOVE, quality is not a coincidence, it is the result of careful selection and dedication. When it comes to choosing the metal for our jewelry, 925 sterling silver is our first choice. But why is it like that?
925 sterling silver, as the name suggests, consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, mostly copper. This particular mix was not chosen by chance. Pure silver, which is 99.9% silver, is relatively soft, making it susceptible to deformation and damage. The addition of copper increases the hardness and strength of the silver, making it more durable and long-lasting - ideal for beautiful jewelry that will last a lifetime.
Sterling silver is here to last forever. Every jewelry lover wants a piece of jewelry that is sturdy, attractive and long-lasting. Sterling silver is just that. It is resistant to wear and tear and retains its shine and beauty over time. A little care from time to time will keep your jewelry looking like new.
Each piece of sterling silver jewelry has a mark engraved that guarantees its authenticity. The engraving "925" is a sign of the authenticity of sterling silver. The numbers on the jewelry indicate the purity of the silver.
With our focus on quality and durability, 925 sterling silver is the star of our collection. It offers the perfect balance between beauty, durability and longevity.
Gold alloy
For our gold alloy jewelry we use at least 14K gold, but mostly 18K gold. This gold alloy offers an ideal balance between purity and stability. Purity because it has a high gold content, which contributes to its attractive, warm color. Stability because it contains enough other metals to make it strong and durable. This makes 18k gold an excellent choice for jewelry that will be worn often and exposed to everyday wear.
Our gold alloy jewelry has been carefully plated with several thick layers of pure gold. To ensure the longevity of your new favorite jewelry, we only use the finest 14-18 carat gold for our gold plating. This process allows us to create jewelry that is every bit as good as real gold jewelry without having to charge excessive prices.
We make sure that we only use hypoallergenic materials for production and of course guarantee that all of our jewelry is absolutely nickel-free. Through our careful selection of materials and regular quality controls, we can ensure that the pieces of jewelry we deliver meet the high standards you have come to expect from your GIVE LOVE favorites.
Gold plating of this quality on sterling silver forms a perfect combination. It balances the beauty and luxury of gold with the durability and accessibility of silver. This retains the design flexibility and versatility that sterling silver has to offer.
Gold-plated jewelry has the added benefit of being less likely to tarnish than pure silver and therefore requires less care. The gold coating protects the underlying silver, maintaining its shine and beauty over time.
Additionally, the use of 18 karat gold and above gives our jewelry an additional dimension of exclusivity and elegance. The warm, rich color of gold adds an element of luxury that is sure to stand out and be admired.
In summary, 18k gold plating and above on our sterling silver jewelry offers a wonderful combination of beauty, durability and luxury. It's an investment in quality and style that will surely stand the test of time.
Plating alloy
In addition to 925 sterling silver, which is already a durable and robust material for jewelry, an additional coating with rhodium or platinum ensures even more longevity and durability. Rhodium, a member of the platinum group, brings many benefits to jewelry. It is extremely resistant to corrosion and oxidation, making it ideal for a coating that protects jewelry from the elements. With its bright white color, it also gives the piece of jewelry a bright, mirror-like surface that further enhances the shine of the sterling silver.
Additionally, rhodium is naturally nickel-free, making it an excellent choice for those with nickel allergies.
Platinum, on the other hand, is one of the strongest and most durable metals on earth, making it an excellent choice for jewelry plating. It is also naturally hypoallergenic and resists tarnishing, meaning it requires less maintenance than many other metals. And of course platinum is also known for its beauty - its bright white color is a real eye-catcher and gives every piece of jewelry a touch of luxury.
Although both rhodium and platinum are among the most expensive and precious metals, their use contributes to the quality and longevity of the jewelry, making the investment worth it in the long run.
It is important to note that all plated jewelry may show some wear and tear over time, which is why regular care and re-plating if necessary is recommended. However, this is not a disadvantage, but a natural part of caring for high-quality jewelry.
In summary, the combination of 925 sterling silver with a rhodium or platinum coating creates jewelry that is not only beautiful to look at, but also durable and easy to care for.
(The pieces of jewelry in our shop that are silver are all additionally alloyed with rhodium/platinum)
CZ stones: diamond duplicate
We use Cubic Zirconia (CZ) stones for our sparkling stones. Known for its diamond-like brilliance and fire, this stone has become one of the most popular options for jewelry lovers who are looking for the sparkle of a diamond but don't want to pay the high price.
CZ is a synthetic substance and is created in the laboratory to mimic the properties of diamonds as closely as possible. This creates stones that resemble a diamond in many ways, especially in terms of their sparkling shine. CZ has a high refractive index and strong dispersion, making it particularly light-reflecting.
At GIVE LOVE we use the highest quality CZ stones. We use at least 5A stones and for many pieces of jewelry even 8A stones. The quality of a CZ stone is evaluated based on its clarity, color, cut and carat weight. A 5A CZ stone is of the highest quality and is very close to a diamond in terms of brilliance and fire. An 8A CZ stone rated even higher offers even more brilliance.
It is important to note that although CZ does not have the same hardness as diamonds, it is still a very durable material and with proper care can maintain its beauty for many years. It's also worth mentioning that even though CZ is synthetic, it is not cloudy or cloudy. It retains its transparency and shine, making it an excellent choice for all types of jewelry.
In summary, CZ stones are an excellent choice for anyone who loves the sparkle and beauty of diamonds but doesn't want to pay the high price for them. CZ stones allow you to wear jewelry that is just as bright and sparkling as diamond jewelry, but at a fraction of the price. And at GIVE LOVE you can be sure that you are receiving CZ jewelry of the highest quality.
